House renovations are always exciting projects, but also difficult and challenging because you want the client to be totally satisfied with the outcome.
This time we had to take care of an entire house in Dublin, Finglas, which didn’t mean just the finishes, but also the heating and electrical systems as well. Thus, as started by removing the old boiler and replacing it with a new combi boiler, which is more efficient when it comes to energy consumption and capacity. We also installed new radiators and renewed the entire electrical system, which meant the installment of sockets, switches, and spotlights.
Another thing we had to do was to demolish the wall between the living room and the kitchen, to give the space a more generous appearance. It is worth mentioning that we proceeded to the demolishing of the wall only after we checked the resistance of the house, to see if it was allowed.
Because the house had beautiful wooden flooring, we just sand it in order to redeem its former glory. Also, all the 3 bedrooms located upstairs enjoyed new laminated floors, skirtings, and wall paintings, so they were completely transformed in the end. The bathroom also got a new appearance, as we removed everything that was old, such as a washbasin, toilet bowl, tiles, and tub, and replaced them with brand new items, plus we added a radiator and shelves for additional storage space.The owners wanted the boiler to not be visible, so we made a case for it to camouflage it, and we painted the handrail as well so that the entire home looks brand new and totally refreshed.
